AKU Pharmacy Residency

AKU Pharmacy Residency is a mobile application designed to support pharmacy residents at Aga Khan University. The app provides access to educational resources, clinical guidelines, drug information, and learning experience tracking — all in one place.

Built by students at AKU's pharmacy residency program, with help of 1PercentLabs.

Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect:

• Email address — used for authentication and account identification
• Name — used to personalize your experience within the app

When you use the app, we automatically collect:

• PDF access logs — records of which resources you accessed and when, to support your learning progress
• Learning experience data — information you voluntarily enter to track your residency activities

How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate your identity and provide access to the app
• To deliver educational content and resources relevant to your program
• To track and display your learning progress
• To improve the app experience

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on cloud-hosted servers with strict access control policies ensuring that users can only access their own data. All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.

PDF resources are stored in private storage with signed, time-limited URLs to prevent unauthorized access.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. Your data is used solely for the purposes described in this policy.
